Breda, Netherlands — O.J. Beer have wowed the industry again at the largest and most prestigious beer awards in Asia, the Asia Beer Challenge taking home a Gold medal for our O.J. Blanche and Double Gold medal for O.J. 20% Strong Beer.
O.J. Beer underwent strict blind tasting standards to ensure accurate results at the biggest and most prestigious beer tasting in Asia. With 50% of the world’s Beers now consumed in Asia, according to Neilson, Asia is an essential focus for brewers.
“The Asia Beer Challenge is a very exciting and competitive challenge,” reported Stephen Moore, Director at Liquor Zaar. “There are 100 beer buyers from all over Asia who blind taste the samples which come from all over the world, not knowing what it looks like, where it comes from, what the brand or price point is. A medal from the Asia Beer Challenge is the fruit of the incredible talents in our team”.
There is a very broad range of tastings organised for the 100 prominent beer buyers in Asia who are sampling the beers, it is a thorough and tough competition.
O.J. Strong Beer is a full bodied, full quality lager with a punchy alcohol content. O.J. Strong Beer is the most expansive range from O.J. Beer. The range consists of seven strong beers with ABV’s ranging from 8.5% up to a whopping 20%, each served in its own unique coloured branding.
O.J. Blanche is a pale, dense wheat beer with a mild sweet-sour taste. This beverage is characterised by its coriander aromas, a beverage all beer lovers will enjoy. It is a white beer with barley malt, wheat, oat, coriander, orange peels and hops. It is a pale, white-yellow coloured, unfiltered (permanent haze) beer with dense, white foam.
